Band Member Bios

 

Diane Jobe is a singer song writer from Columbus Ohio. Her twenty-five years of professional music expereince has ranged from fronting blues bands lie "The Joint Rockers" of Ohio, to recording nationally with producers like J.D. Blackfoot and locally on her first CD with Hector Qirko and Stan Williamson. Dian'e songs deliver relevant messages of encouragement and humor about life's challenges. She is a memorable performer, with a defiantly powerful voice. In her 6 years in Knoxville, Tennessee, she has formed, fronted, managed and promoted her band Jobe. She's captured admiration and respect of local music supporters and musicians alike. Jobe was voted One of Knoxville, Tennessee's Top Blues Bands in Metro Pulse People's Choice Poll in 2005.

David Threlkeld is an Associate Professor of Music at Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Kentucky where he has taught for the last fifteen years. He performs regularly throughout Kentucky and Tennessee on Saxophone and clarinet in a wide variety of styles including classical jazz, blues and R & B. He has performed with a variety of artists including Lou Rawls, the Four Tops, the Temptations and Shirley Jones and is one of the founding members of the Jobe Band.
